Take Note: Paving Cheshire-CT 70 Park & Ride

Take Note: Routes 229 & 928 Customers

The Cheshire-CT 70 Park & Ride will be closed for milling from 7:00 pm Tuesday evening 10/1 until 5:00 am Wednesday morning 10/2.  During this time, the lot will be unavailable for commuter parking. 

Route 928 customers are encouraged to consider the Milldale or Hamilton Avenue Park & Ride facilities as an alternative.  Customers who normally transfer between Routes 229 & 928 at the Cheshire-CT 70 Park & Ride should plan to do so at the Waterbury Green instead.  Route 229 will continue to make local stops along CT 70 during the closure.

Paving of the Cheshire-CT 70 Park & Ride is tentatively scheduled to take place a few days after the milling operation is complete.  As soon as that date is confirmed, we will notify our customers via email alert.
