Detours in Effect for New Haven on Monday, August 19, 2024

Due to Yale University student move-in today on Monday, August 19, 2024, there will be lane closures on Elm St until 12 pm and street closure on College St until 1 pm. The following detours will be in effect:

• 237 buses inbound.  L) Webster St, R) Winchester Ave, L) Sachem St, 

           R) Whitney Ave, L) Elm St to regular route.

• 238 buses inbound.  L) Webster St, R) Winchester Ave, L) Sachem St, 

            R) Whitney Ave, via Temple St, L) Elm St.

• 243 buses inbound from Whalley Ave. L) Sperry St, via Webster St, 

             R) Winchester Ave, L) Sachem St, R) Whitney Ave to Temple St.

• 241 buses inbound.  L) Webster St, R) Winchester Ave, L) Sachem St,

              R) Whitney Ave, via Temple St, L) Elm St to regular route.

• 246 buses inbound. From York St, L) Chapel St, R) Howe St, L) Whalley Ave,

             R)  Sperry St, via Webster St, R) Winchester Ave, L) Sachem St, R) Whitney Ave, via Temple St,  L) Elm St to regular route

• 254 & 255 buses inbound. From York St, L) Chapel St, R) Howe St, L) Whalley Ave, R)  Sperry St, via Webster St, R) Winchester Ave, L) Sachem St, R) Whitney Ave to Temple 

• Outbound buses:

            If York St between Chapel St and Elm St is block.

            All Westbound buses would continue Chapel St, R) Howe St, L) Whalley Ave to regular routes.

            Some buses would go R) Webster St to regular route

• 234 buses inbound. From Sachem St, R) Whitney Ave, Via Temple St to regular route.
  • 234 buses outbound. From Church St, via Whitney Ave L) Sachem St to regular route.

• 278 buses inbound. L) Trumbull St, R) Temple St, R) Chapel St, L) College St to regular route.
